I met Michonne at Star Wars Celebration 3 in Indianapolis through Shannon, a client of mine. Both ladies are fan favorites in the Star Wars universe.

Michonne had a small role as bounty hunter Aurra Sing in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace and her likeness has since been used in many representations of her character.

I did this portrait of her as a thank you for a nice day with one of the kind and lovely ladies of the Star Wars Universe. Rather than do a drawing of her in costume as Aurra, I wanted to do something more casual that captured the fun she had at the convention and the enjoyment that gave to her fans.

The original drawing measures approximately 8.5" wide x 11" tall.
